Anyone know if Caroline Dale or Neil Maccol (something like that) who appeared on Dave's DVD will be on his new album?

Unfortunately, nothing whatsoever is known about Dave's new album yet. However, seeing as this is the Rumour Mill forum, I would like to exercise my right to unfettered, rampant speculation and say yes. Definitely.

But if David had been wise you should've been correct on both answers. Neill MacColl should've played the slide guitar on "Smile".

Yeah, probably. He does that cool thing where he plays behind the slide for weird harmonics.
