Arrow Sept 3rd Update

Just an update - we had one of NY's top session sax players at rehearsal monday night, he's planning on joining us for the CAVU show!

Now we're talking serious stuff...Shine On including the end of Pt 4, an extended version of Us & Them, Money, and (we'll give away a surprise) an improvised sax solo during Great Gig.

Hope to see you there...feel free to introduce yourself if you make the trip out!

3 Sep 04 10pm / CAVU / 857 Plains Rd / Wallkill, NY

-Pink Flawd

PS: We recommend coming to CAVU early, you'll be greeted by an absolutely incredible view of the sunset (7:25pm) along with small planes landing...the venue is actually right next to a runway! How appropriate for Floyd?

Wow. Thats way better then my band. Im trying to get them to learn another brick in the wall part 2. Me and the drummer know it well but my rhythm guitarist needs alot of practice and we need to find a new bass player. Thats what happens when you have 4 friends.

Yeah. I took my own time to learn everyone's parts for them (not drums) and wrote out tabs and everything, then the bassist quits and the rhythm guitarist cant keep time to save his life.

Thanks for the compliment.

Don't get discouraged, just keep working it! Practice practice practice. Way before Floyd and even the Jokers, DG sat at home in front of his record player with his favorite records practicing those guys' licks hours upon end (just like you - except you got it alot easier with CD's & looping mp3s)

You will develop as a top player and one day eventually you'll run into guys good enough to pull it off with you.

When the other links die you can try the old http://www.geocities.com/inner_recor...flawd_live.mp3

It limits you to only one hit per hour, we're working on the new site as we speak!

Hope to see you at CAVU. For those who have asked via e-mail, we will be playing for a few hours, starting about 10pm.

Smile Thanks

Thank you so much to all that came out! CAVU is an incredible venue, right on a runway, we didn't even need the sample for the helicopter flying overhead for Happiest Days -- one took off in the middle of our set!

Look for our next show back in NYC sometime this fall...

Setlist Friday 9/3/04

In the Flesh?
Happiest Days
Another Brick Pt 2
Have a Cigar
Time
Us & Them
Brain Damage
Eclipse
Hey You
Empty Spaces
Young Lust
Money
Run Like Hell
Wish You Were Here
The Gnome
Comfortably Numb

God, I'd love to go, but New York is too far away . Great playing, I just finished listening to your Wish You Were Here. It's awesome, but I think some of the playing on the accoustic intro was a bit too fast. I want to hear more though! Hope you'll put up more samples after you get the new site up. Good luck with your band!
