I've just got to ask this--how many times have I used the phrase, "you never know what Mr. Wright is working on that he isn't talking about."

THIS IS TREMENDOUS NEWS!!!

I CANNOT WAIT!!!

I can't wait either! You know, this seems very true to Mr. Wright's character and to what I guessed--that he himself wouldn't make a huge fanfare over it. What a WONDERFUL surprise this is!

Excuse me for being completely overjoyed, but I'll make a huge scene since he won't:

 WOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

It WOULD be nice to hear it soon, but it's my guess that it'll be awhile...I mean, there was no announced date in the article or anything beyond that small reference. My guess is that, aside from this small mention, we're hardly going to hear anything from Mr. Wright until a few months before the release, when we'll start getting webchats and things like last time (Broken China).

But I am DEFINITELY looking forward to it!!!

(BTW, when that starts, if anyone hears of a webchat, LET ME KNOW IN TIME TO GO!!!)

I just use FloydWaters and FloydWright interchangeably in the chat room. My "main" name, my e-mail, and my website all use FloydWaters.

Anyway, thanks for the offer!

Yes, I think I'm a bit of a fan!

And I'm glad to hear there's at least one interested person! Sometimes this guy really gets ignored, and he doesn't deserve that at all.

I am sorry. By "one interested person", I meant that you are interested in his work.

And yeah, he IS kind of shy. But I personally like the idea of someone who keeps out of the spotlight when he COULD have it all day, if he wanted it.

And your PM--I just found it, and will respond shortly.

Yes, "Smile" seemed like a nice song; unfortunately, I got hold of a bad recording and could not understand the lyrics (I HATE RealPlayer...).

Here it is for you FW:

SMILE

Would this do
To make it alright
Once he has taken you
from out of sight
I'll make my getaway
Time on my hands
search for a better way
to find my way home
to your smile
smile

wasting days and days
on this fight
always down ?around?
of the night
hopeless to remidies
through the dark hours
with only ?sycophants?
with time ??
with your sighing
sighing
sighing

(nice guitar break with backing
singers singing "sighing")

all alone
though your right here
now it's time to go
from your sad smile
make my gettaway
time on my own
leaving a better way
to find my way home to your smile
smile
smile
