Syd and LSD

So how much LSD did Syd use? I heard he use to do it more then one time a day, and that he even got foods made out of the substance. Is this true?

Oh, he did lots and lots of it. never heard about making food out of it, so i cant say if its true, but if he did, then i can see how that led to some problems.

That, to me, is scary as hell.

LSD is a scary substance. No smell, no taste, so it can be slipped into drinks or food very easily. The chemical can totally take your body & mind over within a couple of hours. Some people "take the trip" and never make it back, if you know what I mean.

well, appearantly Syd did get lots of acid without "knowing" it, when he and his girlfriend lived with some people, whom supposedly had LSD in Syd's tea every morning... i don't remember exactly how it was, but something like that...
that was some time after he had started heavy experimenting himself, and he was pretty lost at that time.

I wouldn't say it has no taste, there is some flavor to it, it gives that feeling of just chewing on a piece of gum, not that I would know.

And if he took it without knowing it, that is very scary, a friend of mine had that happen to him while he was camping, during his "trip," he watched his own death three times, all different deaths. He also talked to satan, and had wolves eat his tent and then come after him...to be honest he never really "made it back." So, yeah i bet that could lead to a lot of problems esspecially if you already were a mentally unstable person to begin with.

Sure that all of these things aren't just your friend talking bollocks?

lsd has no flavor what so ever unless it is put on something, like gummy bears for instince which my first time. The 2nd was on paper, no floavor but the paper.

Hmm...that must have been the bottle it was in, the guy had it in a sweet breath container, so that's what I must have tasted. My bad. And come to think of it the paper i got, or blotter(is that with t's or d's...blodder...eh whatever) didn't really have flavor.

some people do keep it in vials that contain a flavor, sweet breath is something I've never heard of...minty acid.
