Angry Seventh chords in Pigs on the Wing?

Every tab I've seen for Pigs on the Wing has 7th chords as being in it. The only parts of the song that I can't get to sound right are where they say the 7th chords are, and I never hear anything that sounds remotely like a 7th in the song, unless its drowned out by...uh lyrics. Anyone feel my pain? Im wondering which of the buggers to blame...

For heaps of songs I think the chords provided dont fit.

Pigs on the Wing definately doesnt use 7th chords...

Yeah, the A7 is the only one that sounds close to right. Im glad my ears aren't in the wrong, I knew the G7 and D7 were totally out of left field!

Try this tab... works for me (you need Power Tab software to view it). Even has the guitar solo from the 8-track version. Unfortunately, for some reason, the timing gets screwed up around bar 125, but the individual notes are all completely correct.

Unfortunately, Im at home with the rents for the summer and they don't have it on their computer. If someone could just post the chord progression that they think works I would be grateful

The intro is actually:
Code:
G G Cadd9
G G Cadd9
G G Cadd9 G...
             If you didn't care...

Thank you all very kindly. But for some reason, the Cadd9 in the intro doesn't sound high enough to my ear. Oh well...once again, thanks

How are you playing the Cadd9?

I play it:

3
3
0
2
3
X

But that probably isnt Cadd9, I know that its the correct chord to be played after the G though.

And the chord played after the C would be.. Cadd4

0
1
0
0
3
x
x

I think thats right :\

So then the songf would be played like this:

Code:
G Gadd# C Csus4 C
                 If you didn't care

                      G Gadd# G
     what happened to me

                  C Csus4 C
     And I didn't care

          G Gadd# G A
For you. We would zig-zag our way

                 A7 G C
Through the boredom and pain. Occasionally glancing

   D G Am F Am F
up through the rain Wondering which of the buggers to blame

     C Am/B Am D Dsus4 D G
And watching for pigs on the wing.
Now youre probably confused.

That is indeed the correct chord, and it is indeed Cadd9.

What, after the first C in the verse? No offense, but that's yucky! I think you mean this:

0
1
0
3
X
X
X

It's a Csus4 and sounds much cleaner.

I am. The Csus4 is correct, but what the heck is Gadd#? You mean the bits where Roger hammers-on Gsus4/C like this:
3
3
0
0
2h3
X
