| Orwell/ Animals I may be over thinking this, but as many of you may know, at the end of Animal Farm, those that revolted (the opressed, albeit the leaders were pigs) became the very thing they rose against, i.e they became oppressors. I sort of see a parallel to this in the final lines of "Sheep": You better stay home And do as you're told Get out of the road if you want to grow old. ...which seems like some 'sheep' commanding other sheep to do as they tell them, now that the dogs are dead. Basically the cycle of revolutionaries becoming dictators (as in the Bolsheviks). What do you think? It certainly seems like a fitting way to end the whole story of Pigs, Dogs and Sheep, and seems very true to Orwell

| Re: Orwell/ Animals I see the parallel. I wouldn't completely doubt this comparison, because I did I hear that Waters got the idea for "Animals" from "Animal Farm". A great Novel, quite creative, I can see why The Floyd would do album based on the idea.
