I like his desperate vocals on "The Final Cut"--the track itself AND the entire album, which is my 3rd favorite Floyd record.

(That is the climax of that song right there) Of course, that song is also great because of the harmony solo!

His vocals on the title track of TFC sound like the vocals on WGW3. Does anyone agree? I love both of those songs.

Waters voice (vocal) has a nasal quality to it and when I hear him sing I often feel the tones of his voice give a sarcastic characteristic. He's not a good singer and he hasn't a good voice but he makes up for it in intellegence, he knows how to apply it effectively.....in most cases.

How someone could say he's not a singer?

I love his voice, with all his own characteristics, full of feelings and tunes so high, that cannot be reached neither by me.
"The Final Cut" is simply touching.

Note holding, vibrato, he's no Andy Williams but like I say he's extremely effective in the way he applies his voice.

Through Pigs on the wing I just want Rog to blow his nose.

Thom Yorke is similar he's got an average voice but the man is a fantastic singer and can reach notes others can't and he can hold them - "fade out aaagaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiin"
