Do you in fact mean Syd Barrett? It's so hard to tell what you mean when you don't use punctuation...

I loved that part on Pompeii! I laughed my arse off.

Another classic part:

I think it was Rog who stopped the recording and told Dave about feedback. Dave goes "Feedback? What would rock 'n roll be without feedback?"

In The Wall movie during the Empty Spaces animation the fenderesque guitar turns into a hypodeemic nerdle [sic] and then into a machine gun.

P.S. Syd was not removed from the band because of his drug use per se, but because he became increasingly unable to perform when required which was likely due to his drug use.

I went through high school having people believe I was into drugs because of the way my eyes are. I kind of had fun then because most ppl were such idiots and everytime I said something stupid they thought it was funny because I was a stoner.... Truth is I never even attempted to smoke pot. Hell, I won't even take aspirin. Just me.

My point is, David Gilmour still looks stoned at times but I believe it is just the way his eyes look.

I thought the funniest part of Pompeii was Waters screwing around [justifiably] with Maben.

"What do you mean by happy?"

"What do you mean interesting?"

That makes me laugh every time I see it...
