| syd bio hey everybody, after listening to piper at the gates of dawn(ive had it for about a month) i have really become even more interested in the biography if Syd Barret, i cant decide what book is good...what bio of syd would you recommend? |

There are several good ones. Perhaps the best is Lost in the Woods. I also have Crazy Diamond which is good. If you want to know everything about his recordings, then get Random Precision. | Re: syd bio Crazy Diamond is a good book, I haven't read Lost in the Woods, but does it have the part where he bites off the record exec's finger? Interesting anecdote. I don't think I'd look into Random Precision, it just looks like a bunch of dates. |
