syd bio

hey everybody, after listening to piper at the gates of dawn(ive had it for about a month) i have really become even more interested in the biography if Syd Barret, i cant decide what book is good...what bio of syd would you recommend?

There are several good ones. Perhaps the best is Lost in the Woods. I also have Crazy Diamond which is good. If you want to know everything about his recordings, then get Random Precision. You can read reviews on each on Amazon.com

Crazy Diamond is a good book, I haven't read Lost in the Woods, but does it have the part where he bites off the record exec's finger? Interesting anecdote. I don't think I'd look into Random Precision, it just looks like a bunch of dates.
