Question corparel clegg

after listening to corparel clegg i no that Dave sings but who sings/says the lines such as "he won it in the war" "in 1944"

i heard somebody say it was nick mason

Nick does, however, speak on Corporal Clegg. He's among those background voices during the end of the song (of which Roger is most prominent, saying stuff like "...about that leg of yours... right then, in yer go!")

Mr. Mason is also the one speaking with the flight control tower during the middle bit of "Learning To Fly."

Yeah but he doesn't actually play on it... except for the backwards cymbal crash at the very end.
