He's probably mellowed on them since working on the film but to begin with he didn't.

well yes at a time but I dont think so anymore afterall he sings Comfortably Numb live with Dave on Daves live DVD...

ya its hillarious if u watch the dvd with the commentary rog makes fun of bob during ,"is there anybody out there?" i suggest watching it its quite humorous

According to Bob Geldof's autobiography Is That It? he disliked them so much he sang ITF in an exaggerated Irish accent until the last take when he sang it properly. Bastard! as Dave (or was it Roger?) said afterwards. Not read the book since the eighties so my recollections are a bit hazy...

I believe he said that they grew on him, or he ended up liking Roger, or something along those lines. Can't really remember, but he may have not liked the music, but I don't believe he had an actual distaste for the band.
