I will go for the beatles too, my second choice would be Floyd no doubt about it, and third would be The Who. Of course Led Zeppeling was pretty darn good but not as close as those 3.
Somebody was saying about Van Halen yes they are good, but if you listen them closely they just sound like led Zeppelin, starting with the drums, the sintezicers, guitars, just the voice is diferent. Might be true might be wrong

Pink is at the top of my list with beatles and zeppelin comin up after that. Then, maybe Queen and the Who.

Zep are much loved by many Floyd fans...I just can't get into them.

I find them too loud and in your face.

I only really like Nirvana really, if you can call them heavy rock.

Stairway to heaven is class though....who truly dislikes that????

yes some parts let the overall track down, but gosh that opening arpeggio and slide does it.

bit Floyd and bit genesis and bit heavy rock.

Stairway was Ok when I was about 15...but it doesnt do anything for me now.
