Second Greatest Rock Band - a poll

The Rolling Stones once claimed they were the Greatest Rock and Roll Band of all time.

We are going to put that to the test!

Obviously if the Floyd were in it, we would vote them as our favorite, so instead we are going to vote for the second favorite.

Choose one of these popular bands...

Vote now

Queen!! No doubt about it.. It's deffinetly in for some discussion if Queen really is a Rock'n'roll band, or not. But given the choises above, year, queen is my no 1 choise.

I was tempted to go for The Who, as I have been listening to them all this week... -Who's Next, Quadraphenia, and Who Are You today... - but Zeppelin just edges them for me.. I'm a big fan of The Beatles too, but I don't really consider them Rock n Roll so much as Pop, but I wanted to include popular bands so as everyone would have popular choices...

I don't like any of the choices. Most of those are second-tier in my mind, but i'd go with Queen.

This IS a DDT.

Here is an example of just ONE of the threads on this topic...

Why isn't Limp Bizkit in the poll?

Just kidding about Limp Bizkit...I voted for Zeppelin...if I had 2 votes my next vote would have gone to Queen.

I recently did a lot of research on the Beatles. I voted for them probably because they kind of started RnR. They put it in a different perspective for the world. Their timing was awesome too.
But, I love the Doors, and the Who, and Queen also. I just don't really know much about them so I hated to vote.

I voted for The Who. If I were to vote again I would probably choose Led Zeppelin.

I'm in the US, so I don't know when I'll be able to see it. Hopefully the new guy will uphold the title well! The world is in dire need of a 4th-Doctor calibre actor.

Sorry to everyone who has no idea what were talking about.

I'm in the US too, so I'm in the same boat. I'm predicting it will end up on the Sci-Fi channel or UPN in either late '05 or early '06
