Snow Patrol

I searched, and all I found was posts in various threads on them, so...

Yeah, I really dig Snow Patrol.

All the songs I've heard are great, but Spitting Games and Run are genius.
Run is possibly one of the greatest songs I've heard in a long time.

Not too many of my friends seem to dig them, but you know how it is... 'let's label everything on the indie/alt. station as emo'
lol

Anyway, run free my children...

Yeah, it's a great album. Chocolate is a good song.

They're not much like Keane though. And nowhere near as good.

As Irish bands go, they're not band - a thousand times better than The Thrills.

Irish, as far as I know.

Jess will know. Actually, hang on, this is the internet for Christ's sake...

Ok, according to www.allmusic.com they're from Northern Ireland, but they first met in Dundee, in Scotland.

I knew they had some connection with Scotland. I remember reading something about them playing a 'homecoming' gig in Scotland. When I first heard them though, for some reason I thought they were Canadian. But there you go.

How did I know....?

Well, they're good, at least we can agree on that, if not the Thrills.

Unless you suddenly decide that listening to the Thrills is akin to flossing your ears with barbed wire, then you're right, we can't agree on the Thrills.

I saw them in June, they supported the Pixies and Chilis, and I just sat them out, like half the crowd.
