| Peter Watts, Father of Actress Naomi Watts?! I had absolutely no clue that the father of one of my favorite actresses, Naomi Watts, is Peter "Putty" Watts, Pink Floyd roadie/sound technician who died of a heroin overdose in the mid-70s and appeared on the cover of the live side of "Ummagumma." Talk about total-mindblowing! I accidentally stumbled upon this when I read "30 Facts About Dark Side of the Moon," and it mentioned Peter Watts as being one of the background voices. If you're not familiar with Naomi Watts, she was just in "I Heart Huckabees," and was in "The Ring" and "Mulholland Dr."  |

The star's dad, Peter Watts, was Floyd's sound engineer who died tragically at the age of 30 of a suspected heroin overdose. The '21 Grams' beauty said: "It gets to me. Whatever I'm feeling at the time, I think, it tends to connect with me. I mean, there have been times when I've laughed out loud with him and got the joke - whatever that was, but I was right there."
