odd looking durms in the pulse

I noticed in teh pulse that one of the musicians palying in it was using a large oddly arragned set of drums he sued standing up. I was jsut curious what that was all about?

That's Gary Wallis, percussionist extraordinaire. He's got a wide variety of percussive wonders at his disposal, and sprinkles them liberally throughout PULSE like a master chef adding spice to a dish.

Seriously though, he's just a wanker with a stupid-looking pair of headphones.

That actually made me laugh.

What always bothered me about the tour for TDB was that Nick Mason always had a massive drumkit, and he utilised maybe an eighth of it.

A lot of the pieces are used only a handful of times the whole concert. But I'm not complaining, cos it still looks great.

A bit like the way AVH has a drumkit the size of a house in the Jump video, yet hardly any of it is used.
