Re: Fat Old Sun I'm not sure exactly how old this thread is, but I wanted to ask if anyone could give me an updated location of where I could find that awesome extended version of Fat Old Sun. I had it at one point, but I seem to have misplaced it : \ And after listening to it on Live in Gdansk, I've had significantly renewed interest in the song. It's just awesome.

Re: Fat Old Sun The best live version of FOS is from the Lisner Auditorium show in Washington DC, 1971The ROIO is called Something from Nothing Funny some people think this song is a Doors rip off...actually the line "Summer Sunday and a year" was pinched by David from the Doors song "She Lives On Love Street"!

Re: Fat Old Sun Will always say great song, Atom Heart being one of my favourite albums. But Gilmour has always said he stole alot of this song. The Kinks, BBC back catalogue, you mention it, he stole it. But it's still an epic track and along with Summer 68 makes the album which in my humble opinion kills Meddle! Same album, just Meddle has Echoes and One Of These Days. Atom Heart has Atom Heart Mother, If, Summer 68, Fat Old Sun. Meddle has One of these days, Fearless, Echoes! Anyway, in those days Gilmour stole alot!
