Syd now?

well, Im 15 years old, and there are more and more people at my highschool that have Pink Floyd T-shirts. Its cool and all, but i see people who im sure (almost positive) havn't heard Pink Floyd, or know about Pink Floyd. When i thought this to my self i realised that i didnt know anything about Pink Floyd eather, all i knew was that Roger waters wrote alot of the songs, and that was about it. So i decided to do some reserch on the song "Shine on you Crazy Diamond" for my music appreciation class, and i read that it was written for Syd, and how he was basicly disabled because of Acid. I dont know much about Syd besides what i have read here, that he wrote most of their early songs.

Now i was wondering, after you read this hole post, which i probaly didn't even need to put in the first place, but i fealt it would be cool if you knew how i came apon the question.

Where is Syd now? has he gone Crazy? has he O.D.ed? what happened to him since he leaved the group? I know acid can do strange shit to you (my dad knows a guy who has to work at a good will because he thinkgs that L.Ron Hubbard is alwase watching over his everymove). I was wondering if Syd is going through or has gone through anything similar to this, since i know he has done alot of acid, or at least a good amount ( my guitar teacher told me he say a DvD at a book store labled Syd's [i dont want to try to spell his last name, since i will probaly get it wrong] first acid trip).

Anywase, i guess what im asking is , does anyone have any information about Syd and his current condition? or a picture of him so i can know what he looks like, from the rest of the group.... oh and does anyone know if i can get that poster with the naked girls backs painted with the different album covers, as a t-shirt? since i want to promote Pink floyd, but everyone has Dark side of the moon, or the wall, and i wanted something different.

So any information about Syd would be nice.

Ahhhhhh, two of the greatest things on earth: naked girls and Pink Floyd. Could anyone ask for anymore?? You should be able to get that image screened onto a shirt.

ive never seen that picture on a pf shirt, and ive seen them all(well, the ones they still sell). you could probably get it custom done, but hell if i know where you can do that.

As far as I know, you can't OD on LSD.

oh and i wasnt sure if you can or not... im dont know to much about LSD exept it can make you see some crazy stuff..
