I HATED Division Bell

The songs seemed to have no depth. Plain and simple with an exception of one or two songs, Gilmour can't write lyrics to save his life. I love his Insturmentals, but for gods sakes have you heard this album? What kind of way is it to make this your last studio album? I just want to know what every one else thinks of Gilmour's lyric and this album.

theres no point to go into making someone like or dislike an album. if you like it like me, ok, listen to it. if you dont like it, then dont listen to it. surely you liked songs such as marooned and high hopes, right?

Like I said I like gilmour's intermental's i.e. marrooned, but High Hopes seemed over rated to me.

The Division Bell is a beautiful album, IMO. I can't deny that it lacks a certain something that can only be provided by ALL four members of Floyd, but then again, that's the whole point of the album - It was kind of a rebirth for the remaining three members.

I know that rick really didn't put much into AMLOR but I wouldn't call DB the rebirth of the exsisting members...they were definitly goin somewhere with AMLOR but then DB took a sharp left and headed into it's own spectrum.

I do love this album tho, it has it's downs, but mostly ups.

Dave cannot write to save his life I agree, but his singing and guitar playing make up for it.

The songs do have a flow to them, and a connection, I wouldn't say there all bad.
