Re: Echoes = Convenience

'Pink' was never recorded as far as I know. The song 'Snowing' however was. Very hard to find. It's actually just a song that goes along with 'Matilda Mother'.

Re: Echoes = Convenience

Bride of a bull:

Buying the Single would probably cost me at least the price of "echoes" if not double, Plus A CD is much more convenient then a Vinyl release. If it hasn't been released On CD anywhere(Official or ROIO), then buying a vinyl would have been relevant.

Fixxlevy:

In the bathroom, or more to say, Shower(I don't normaly do baths,
I prefer showers! ) )
Roger and Dave don't exist! There I'm the Proud Vocalist of all of my favourite Bands.
And That of course includes Pink Floyd.

Besides, don't you know It's dangerous to put your stereo System in your bathroom?
You might get an electric shock and understand
the reason why Roger Screams on "Careful with that Axe Eugene", or maybe why Interstellar overdrive goes from such a great Guitar part
in the begining to such a weird part in the middle(Probably LSD).

Anyway, back to "when the tigers Broke free",
I admit I never heard it, and I wanted to know
how it sounds, so I'd know if it worth to me to buy this compilation in the first place,
the same way I did with "Works". It's Needless to say that works hardly gets in my CD Player.

Again, I have all The roger waters era Pink floyd album except "Obscured By Clouds".
I have "Zabriskie Point",Piper,relics,Pulse,
A Momentary Lapse of reason ,a sampler Disc including Interstellar overdrive from "Tonite Let's All Make Love in London" and an Interview disc from 1967.

My Favourite Studio era 1968-1975
Favourite live eras 1969-1971,1977
Favourite Album - Wish you were Here

And If it surpises you, I Like dave more than Roger.

I hope that info can GUIDE you to tell me if I would like "When the tigers broke free".

Re: Echoes = Convenience

I never liked When the Tigers broke free. The music is really boring, kinda like stuff from the Final Cut

Re: Echoes = Convenience

i like echoes. i was going to make a pink floyd mix even tho i have most of the albums, so this was conveinient for me that it came out before christmas. if i didnt get it for christmas, i wouldnt have bought it. i would have burned it if i really wanted it. i was disapointed with the shortened versions and i say they should have included the full versions and made it a 4 disc set and inclued at least 2 songs from EACH studio album, including relics, biding my time is one of my favorite floyd songs. i also would of rather had san tropez instead of one of these days.

floyd albums i have:
Piper
Saucerful of secrets
Relics
Meddle
Obscured by clouds
Dark side
wish you were here
animals
the division bell

i ordered the wall live from amazon on jan 2nd and they still havent shipped it. im very impatient when it comes to mail-ordering things.

anyways, id like to say hi, this is my first post and i hope i can post as often as i can.

peace
