Can you play all the major and minor chords yet? If not you should porbably get on with those, then you can play rythym to almost any song...

As for Coming Back to Life, I've spent ages trying to get the opening solo tone, I'm pretty sure I should actually buy a strat though instead of trying it through a crappy squier tele.. Anywho, the moral of the story (?) is this, don't worry too much about tone when you're learning. At most think about chorus, delay and overdrive or clean. Trust me.

well that wasn't an order, you can not trust me if you want. In fact you probbaly should, you don't want to trust random internet people, haven't you seen those paedophile adverts...?!

Then again, you're 40....
