I suppose the difference would lie in whether it's your house... or your parent's.

Either is good for me.

Me, I smoke at home -- partly because our wonderful country won't allow us to smoke a plant that grows naturally; and I chose to smoke at home because I have my stereo, and I can listen to Floyd.

I have never been one to really go to parties, and smoke pot with a whole bunch of people. Instead, I usually just smoke by myself, though I do have some fellow toking comrades to smoke with as well.

In Amsterdam, I believe that you are only allowed a certain amount to take home with you -- possibly a few grams. But, as long as you in the coffeeshop, you can buy and smoke all you want. Plus, there's food, and great music. And it would be nice to interact with some responsible smokers, and possibly have some deep conversations.

If I don't happen to get the job at the Pink Floyd hash bar, then I will definitely become one of the regulars. You know, it will be just like that show Cheers -- "don't you wanna go where everyone knows your name?" -- but instead of us all drinking beer, we'd all be smoking joints.

Ah, yes, one can dream.

Wow, how things change.

Of course, I think that'd be a pretty funny premise for a television show. A Cheers ripoff where people sit around and get stoned all day, instead of drink. Maybe call it "Reefers". Yeah, that sounds good, that would be the name of the hash bar where everyone hangs out at. I like it. Maybe I'll pitch it to NBC.
