I had a choice to see either them or Jethro Tull. I chose Jethro Tull because at least you get the real Ian Anderson.

They're coming to Albany, NY in a few weeks - I'm thinking about taking my 9 yr old - he's developed quite a liking for the Floyd, and this is the closest live thing he'll ever see to the real event.

He's hooked on AHM and WYWH, and he's seen "DSOT", "Pulse", "Pompeii", and "BDG in Concert" several times. I think he'd enjoy the show.

What cha think? Good show for a nine year old?

They were here in Sacramento not long ago... I wasn't interested in seeing a tribute band, but they filled Memorial Auditorium downtown, and those I spoke to who saw the show said it was pretty good.

Thanks, DT -

I, like you, don't have a strong interest in seeing them, but I've heard pretty good things about them, and my son won't care too much about them being fake - he's into the music.
