This thread already exists? My prediction is that soon there will be nothing left to discuss and we will all have to retire.

Yea..DDT's are lame, not in the sense that they are DDT's but the fact they get closed.

LAME

maybe some one doesn't want to read what people said 2 YEARS AGO and they actually want a response back to their statement.

I'm done

Yes that's true i think, why not discuss things again that were discussed long ago. That's also nice for new members older members don't need to respond, this way the forum will be kept alive more i think.

Why not just post in the old threads? If any member, old or new, really still wants to talk about it, then the old thread will stay on top of the pile and come back to life. On the other hand, if you keep making DDTs, you just split the same old topic of conversation into many little pieces so it's harder to find information all in one spot.

Trust us on this one.

I think the fact that someone has chosen to discuss and open up a topic about this NOT ONCE, but TWICE is a sure sign that the apocalypse is near

is this a fourm about information? people searching the site aimlessly and silent looking for answers to questions they've never asked?

or is this a fourm where people can post what they want, and to talk openly about any subject floyd or not.

I honestly don't give a f*** what someone said about TDB or David Gimours guitars or whatever 2yrs ago, I want to know what people think NOW. And if it against the law to ask a question that has been asked, or talk about something that's been said...who cares? Arrest me.

Considering there's nearly always at least thirty odd 'guests' online and countless registered members who have never posted, I'd guess it's somewhere between the two.

And if you want to know what people think NOW rather than two years ago or whatever, then just simply reviving old threads of the topic you're interested in will get you plenty of responses.

I didn't mean a post about a certain subject being posted twice....I meant I.e. Somone asks the group what they think of X album, member, song w/e and the only reply the get is:
this is a DDT go "here" and look at what we talked about months, maybe years ago.

why don't people just answer a simple question and give their opinion rather than act like a push-over mod or wannabe mod and gove links to other threads.

Are you to lazy to write your opinions, are do you just have none of your own, and would rather they read other's?

Is this a DDT? it's just a simple question...answer it

Are you too lazy to find old threads? If you post your question about an album, song or whatever in an old thread, most likely it will get the replies you're after.
