| Re: What Live at Pompeii could have been... You do know that only 'Echoes' and 'A saucerful of Secrets' were recorded and filmed at Pompeii(october '71)? All of the others were done in Paris the following spring, with the possible exception of 'One of These Days I`m Going to Cut You into Little Pieces'. Not sure about that one. I think Maben quite clearly states that it was only those two... Well, they are obvious anyway, as they were filmed in daylight. |

| Re: What Live at Pompeii could have been... "One of These Days" also takes place entirely inside the Pompeii amphitheatre (in the non-director's cut at least).

Pompeii is in dire need of change - the soundtrack is a semitone sharp! I have a bootleg of Floyd live at San Diego, 29.10.1970 which is also a semitone sharp but for an official recording to be released without being rectified...it's acceptable with a bootleg! - what the buggery bollocks was Adrian Maben thinking? He sould have concentrated on fixing the speed rather than wasting my time and his with Live At Pompeii - The Director's Cu*t. ![]() Last edited by quicksilver : 10-11-2004 at 11:34 AM. |

| Re: What Live at Pompeii could have been... I love that dvd. Echoes is bloody brilliant on it , along with set the controls for the heart of the sun. Not too keen on all the new graphic stuff though.
