| Great Gig In The Sky question Hi there! I am a Pink Floyd fan and I am planning to include a study of 'Great Gig in the Sky' in a project I am completing. I was hoping some of you could point me in the direction of some interviews/information about this song, as all my searches seem to come up with lyrics. I know there has been quotes from the band about what the song was based on/around eg. death, sadness, etc. and I really like it if you could help me out here. Thankyou, Rach51286  |

| Re: Great Gig In The Sky question First of all explore this very website. Plus, Brain Damage Online has a good amount of interviews about Dark Side and the song Great Gig. On Pink Floyd official website, if you go to the Echoes site you'll find some comments of Rick Wright about his own famous piece.
