Would you want to meet your idol?

I was talking with some friends, and I think I came to the conclusion that I dont think I'd want to meet my favorite people or band. I mean, I really really like PF, but what if I went to meet them and found out they were complete assholes? Wouldn't that kinda ruin how you felt about them? Maybe not necessarily their music, but it would effect how I looked and hear them.

so the question is, would you like to meet your favorite people? (think about it for a sec, dont just say yes or no)
