WHat's the song called?

And i couldnt help him!

I wouldn't call it singing as much as a sort of growly gesture. But anyway, it's "One of these days", the lead track from Meddle.

"With a little help from my friends, etc"

The other songs on which he speaks are "Signs of Life" and "Learning to Fly"--that last is actually a recording of his conversation with the tower on his first solo flight!

BTW, did he actually go by "Nicky" at some time, or is that just a friendly nickname that the fans gave him?

Syd sings on the studio version although, I have a live version that Rick sings. Scream Thy Last Scream that is.

Yuck! Tea!

Funnily enough, Nick's Fictitious Sports is another of my least favourite solo efforts and I'd always thought the appalling singing on the album was another man (not a Carla Bley) or Nick himself.

Whichever, the voice was dreadful. Or am I confusing this album with RWright's Wet Dreams? Same diff?

Wow, you really MUST be confused!

Mr. Wright sings quite pleasantly on Wet Dream.

Is it just me, or does every one feel compelled to talk like they're British?

Everyone seems to talk like they're professional intellectuals that just use big vocabularies and ask intriguing queries.

No signature needed, I think I've analyzed the situation the best I could have.

I thought all British people talked like
they were in a Black Adder episode.

I meant the way people talk on this forum. It's like they have to talk like Roger or Dave.
