At least your team get's picked to win the pennant, unlike ours..the Rockies who have horrible owners and a horrible GM.

Yeah, but the Rockies GM isn't as bad as Ed Wade and our faceless owners.

I think both GM's are about even. Dealin' Dan O'Dowd is horrible.

Re: Redsox anyone?

Damn! The Red Sox just tied up the ALCS 3 - 3 after being down 0 - 3 to the Yorkies. First time in history that's been done! These last 3 games may be the most exciting I've ever seen.

Tomorrow, the Sox must win game 7.

The World Series is going to be anticlimatic
after this series.

Leaving Shawn Chacon as the closer after he was proven worthless in that role was idiotic.

Just be greatful you don't have to deal with that your whole life like I have with the Phillies! I can't even say they won their only world series in my life time because it was 8 months before I was born.

Hey, I suffered awhile with the Red Sox before the Rockies ever showed up, so I know frustration too.

I was thinking the Phils won in 93. That's right, they lost a heartbreaker to those foreigners.

I still have this image of John Kruk running to second base about 10 times as the batter fouled off pitch after pitch on a hit-and-run.

You never know, Schilling might pitch a game during that series with his head cut off or something...

I don't know if I can take another crap year as well. I feel bad for Helton, one of the best hitters in the game.

Dealin' Dan needs to go.

Re: Redsox anyone?

Oddly enough, I felt a sense of closure when Schilling won with Arizona. It seemed like he was making up for 93.

Mitch "Wild Thing" Williams pitched a home run to some goof from some goofy country in what was called at the time "the last real World Series". It was great though, seeing Kruk's torn, dirty pants as the players were a bunch of rough guys refusing to change their uniforms between innings.

If the BoSox win tonight, I am pretty sure the Catholic Church will make Curt a saint.
