I want a Boston/Houston world series. John Kerry's team vs George Bush's. WS winner decides the presidency!

Re: Redsox anyone?

Well, it's the Cardinals against the Red Sox. I'm going for the Cards to win, let the Red Sox be cursed forever.

Re: Redsox anyone?

I'm going for no one. This WS is too depressing. I see my two favorite (former) Phillies in the WS while we are stuck at home with our dumbass GM for an 8th season! Next year we will only have 1 person left over from trading our 2 superstars (Schilling and Rolen) but he may be traded. I can't stand the incompetence! Schilling should have been a Phillie this season. Oh well, I hope the Sox enjoy their loan cause he is a Phillie for life.

Re: Redsox anyone?

This should be an interesting series. I'll be pulling for the Red Sox, of course, even though former Rockie Larry Walker is a Redbird now. I'm glad he's getting to play in a WS, 'cause he sure as hell never would have with the Rockies.

I think the curse will be put to the test. This batch of RedSox seems more spunky and confident than past WS participants.

Sox about to go up 6 or 7 to nothing on the cards in game 3. How do you yankees fans feel now... about a week later.

Re: Redsox anyone?

So much for the curse.

Oops, I probably shouldn't have said that.

4 - 0 Red Sox bottom of 7th. Pedro is cooking.
