Strange "more" and "A Saucerful Of Secrets records on ebay

Hi, I was wondering if anybody else had seen some ebay auctions that had all five pink floyd members signatures on them. There was a signed Piper At The Gates Of Dawn(4 signatures), A Saucerful Of Secrets(5 signatures) and from 1969 More with all 5 signatures. The only item that seems quite odd is the 1969 release. Syd has singed his name and then has written "Pink Floyd" underneath. I have attatched a picture from the more auction to see what you people have to say about it.

I love the fact that under "Syd Barret" he has it signed "Pink Floyd" and "The Pink Floyd".

Fake or not..it makes you wonder...what if Syd stayed in the band...2 guitarists? Syd and Dave..can you imagine?

Could have the Floyd gone in a completly different direction and never have published great works such as DSoTM or Animals? But published a whole different line of albums..kinda erie..but what if..

we'll never know what heights Syd might've reached, how his instrument playing & specific role within the Floyd might've evolved.........just like we'll never get to hear the 10 or 20 Hendrix albums that surely would've followed Electric Ladyland.

i dont think they look fake, but, it hard to believe that syd signed the more cover. All three of these records were going for 500dollars U.S each and the last time I saw them there were no bidders.

I am sure they are real signatures.... but I can't say that they were really signed by members of Pink Floyd. Just that they were really signed by SOMEONE.

Signatures, really a waste of time. Unless, of course, you see the band members sign the album personally. There's just no other way to tell if the signature is real or not -- no matter what anyone else says.

You may be convinced that they are indeed Floyd's signatures, and you may even purchase the album. But you will always wonder if they are authentic signatures.

If what you say is true, and you cannot trust what someone says about the authenticity of a signature, but you yourself saw the band member sign it, how would anyone beleive YOU if they were real?

And in turn how can anyone trust what another says?

Yes we live in a f'd up world of con men, but not everyone out there is a liar looking for your money.

However the fact that Syd's signature is on More is a little offsetting

You really have to watch things like this -- someone claiming to have a certain person's autograph.

If I myself saw the band sign my album, I really wouldn't try to convince anyone else. As long as I know that they are real, well, that is all that matters. Besides, I would hang on to something like that forever.

But like I said before, signatures just aren't my thing. They really don't serve any purpose.

Signatures aren't my thing either, but if I saw the band sign it myself, then I would hang onto it forever.

Howver there people who buy/sell signatures for habby and profit.

I'm just saying that not everyone is a cheat that got really good at signing "Bob Saget" (or what have you, Bob Saget is just hilarious, thought I might use the name) to get money, some people sell legit signatures.

The More signature still puzzles me tho

Why would Syd sign A Saucerful Of Secrets? He was out of the band at that point.

More to the point, (heh, that was actually an unintentional pun!) why would Syd sign More?

General Consensus: FAKE.

The rest look real good fakes but the fact that Syd not only signed More (even though he had lost contact with the band) and that his signature changes makes me warey.
