Didnt he sing on Speak To Me? thought he did, hmm. And on Z Point and Beyond, he also sings on The Man and The Journey, not solo though.

He didn't sing on "Speak to me". He gets a writing credit because Roger let him. Being friends at that point, Roger regretted the fact that as nick was The Drummer, he didn't actually have much input with regards to the actual songs themselves. Cheers, Mark

Nick Mason does not, I repeat DOES NOT sing on anything on The Man and The Journey. He wrote the song 'Doing It' on The Man and all that song is, is A drum solo.

Positive. They recorded things from A bunch of people, like roadies and what not. Even Paul McCartney.

Paul McCartney? Nice...

Yes. But they chose not to use P McCartney. I imagine it was probably because trying to get across a thumb held aloft is something that The Floyd, with their "Aural Landscapes", might find slightly beyond even them.

We shall rename this "What Nick Mason Doesn't sing on", which is pretty much everything. Although, in concert he did the "lords prayer" part of 'sheep'.

It's definitely a rumour that nick has lines on Speak to Me. Where did you find that rubbish, the Pink Floyd Web ring? I mean, *cough* a friend. In every published book that has to do with Pink Floyd, it says that all the spoken lines throughout DSotM are either 3 of the following: Roadie, people that Roger interviewed, or doorman at Abbey Road studios. Actually, all three file under people that Roger interviewed.

It's A song lyric genious. Is he supposed to say 'I've been mad for bleeping years'?
