Mason's book delayed...again.

This may be old news, but I just received an email from Amazon.uk stating that Inside Out has been delayed again. They didn't specify a date, but they said it would be another few weeks. I wonder what the delay is on the book.

I detect the hand of David Gilmour in this.

Actually, it's ahead of schedule in the UK and may even be in shops by the end of the week.

Not to sound...argumentive...but if Psyche got an email saying that the book would be delayed from amazon..isn't that a little more reliable, and offical that you saying it's ahead of schedule?

Well Nick himself said that some copies might find their way into stores as early as tomorrow... maybe it's just Amazon.co.uk that's experiencing a delay.

Yeah, that's possible. I hope you're right. Being in the U.S. I'm kind of in the dark about this.

I think i'm gonna get it, but usually i'm not that good with books. I always seem to have a hard time finishing the entire book, but i got loads of cash so who cares.

I'm jealous! I went to Amazon.com for the US and it says "Not yet released" and says the date for release is APRIL 2005!

Oh well...at least if you have any other items on your shopping list, this will give you a chance to buy them first.
By the way here's an important subject...*WHY* does it keep being delayed? It must be finished so what's the holdup? Contracts? Business? Marketing? Something go wrong at the factory and the workers are all suffering allergic reactions to the paper? Anybody?

Probably marketing... Nick seems to be doing a lot of press/book signings/public appearances etc. in the UK, and hopefully when he's finished he'll take a break and then come to the US for the book's release stateside.

Now it's due to be released October 14. Hopefully it'll be out before I lose my eyesight to old age.
