I think they would be as good if not maybe better than what they were without him. Sure there would be no DSOTM or WYWH. But there would albums that would simply replace those two with the same calibur of quality. Boy would it be. wonder how it would be like. Ya and as for if they would change their style i dont know. pink floyd without syd did, from psychedelic to progressive alt. Your ideas? |
I was thinking about this earlier, and I think that a second Floyd LP would have been a very scary experience indeed - listen to some of his solo work (mainly Madcap Laughs) and Vegetable Man/Scream Thy Last Scream. It would probably have been darker and heavier.
