I think i have a problem...

ok, for some reason, the only thing that goes through my mind is pink floyd. every second of everyday. it used to be like 1 or 2 songs a day, but now im gettin a different song stuck in my head every 2 minutes. is this bad? am i gunna die or something? its only the floyd, never any other band.

it would be ok if im like" alright im gunna listen to floyd now" that would be normal to think about it, but its not what happens. i dont even really listen to them as much because i hear them 24/7 no matter what im doing. anybody else got this problem? or am i some kind of psycho?

Tough to say, we can all be a little psycho. But, I think that it is nothing, just you really liking their music a lot.

It's true. Then when you think all your love for Floyd has gone, you'll remember them, and go crazy again. It happens every summer.

A problem?? Why is that a problem?? That is a blessing. But I don't understand why you made a new thread though. We all share a common interest here -- we are all Floyd fanatics.

Yes, the mind does tend to travel a bit, aye?? Clegg to Interstellar, that's not that bad really -- the songs are from a similar era.

What's really bad is when I am humming the tune to something early, let's say Lucifer Sam, and then all of a sudden, just like that, I'm singing the chorus to a latter tune, such as Not Now John.

Different people always go through this, no matter what their favorite band is. I go through that with the Pink Floyd as well sometimes, just as you do.

I used to be the same way, and then I got into the Beatles again. And then I got into Radiohead. And then I got into the White Stripes... etc. etc. etc. It kinda goes away with time.

It all depends on the person, and whether or not you let the magic die or not.

Me, well, I could never turn my back on the Floyd crew -- the sound is too unique, and the music touches the heart.

Well, 'kinda'... my love for the Floyd will never go away, either. It's just that when I discover a band I like a lot, I get obsessed with them for a few weeks. And then I usually find a new one to get freaked out over. But all the bands I like mean something to me.

Could be worse...... It could be ABBA..
