Sonic Youth

I've been digging this band a lot lately. I love their noisy stuff mostly, but their mellower stuff is pretty good too. For those of you that don't know, Sonic Youth was an underground alternative band that started in the 80's (and just recently released a new album) and experimented with just sheer and utter noise. Some people think it's thoughtless but I love it. I only own Daydream Nation and Dirty, but they are both awesome albums. My favorite songs by them are 100%, Drunken Butterfly, Schizophrenia, and Silver Rocket.
