Help me identify a PF song please!!!

The other day I heard a song on the radio that I'm 99% sure was Pink Floyd but I don't know what it was. I was working and couldn't make out many of the lyrics. It was softer, more mellow and hoarse and sounded somewhat like comfortably numb. I caught some lyrics but can't remember them now. However, I do believe towards the end a chorus comes in and some sort of a theme about once you're gone you can't come back or something like that was repeated a few times.

Any help? It was real good and I had never heard it before, it's got me baffled.

I don't think it's either of those. What songs are those from so I can look up the rest?

I'm positive at the end of the song a faint chorus comes in and sings a phrase or two several times.

It had something to do with don't look back, or don't come back. and once you're gone you're gone, or some sort of thing like that, something bittersweet or perhaps nostalgic or remorseful. I know this is really vague but it's the best I can remember.

I reckon it's probably a song you heard on the radio once.

It's not unheard-of for "On the Turning Away" to get some radio play.

Has anyone ever heard the a capella version of this song by the Xtension Chords? Sheer brilliance!

How about "There's No Way Out Of Here" from Gilmour's first solo album? It kind of fits the description.

"There's no way out of here
when you come in
you're in for good"

I'm very confused though. I know that's the same voice that sings comfortably numb, wish you were here, on the turning away etc etc. But I thought Roger Waters was the lead singer? Did Gilmour sing those songs?

Yes, Gilmour is the vocalist on those songs you mentioned; he and Waters shared singing chores during the golden years when they were together, but, obviously, Rog was not with Dave on the AMLOR album (On the Turning Away) nor on Dave's solo album, on which TNWOOH was recorded.
BTW, I too have heard TNWOOH several times lately on the local rock station.
