Am i dreaming?

Q Magazine, who as you know did a recent Pink Floyd special, have hinted at some sort of discussion between Roger and the band for some shows next year. Could this be true? I know what you're thinking, but they did spend hours talking to these guys. Give it a read, and see what you think.

Q has made that claim before. Remember? At the pyramids of giza on December 31, 1999? Wasn't that a great concert?

Look at Dave's recent choice to play a set of entirely post-Roger Pink Floyd tunes at the Strat Pack concert. Look at Roger's new forays into opera and spoken-word travelogue recordings.

Neither of them want anything to do with each other ever again.

I personally can't see them getting back together again. We would be lucky to see another Pink Floyd album or tour without Waters, never mind with him.

Yeah the best that we can hope for is a Gilmour tour and a Wright tour next year as they both have albums out.

Roger's next tour won't be until 2006, and Dave and Rick's albums aren't even finished yet so late next year is probably the earliest we can hope for.

Dave did say in Classic Rock magazine a couple of years back that he made a 'genuine offer' to Roger to play DSOTM together. Maybe if Rog made the offer this time ... who knows. But ... it won't happen.

They do seem to be going in very different directions. It would be a sweet occasion though, 30th WYWH anniversary, and the 40th anniversary of the band.

I think a tour with all four members is as likely as Roger getting that stick out of his butt.

Wright has a new album coming out? Where have I been?

I was planning on hiking camping in the rainer, hood, helens area next year and I would love to cancel those plans to see the floyd. With all of the eathquakes and volcanic activity it might be a good idea to go elsewhere anyway.

At least Pulse might be coming soon, which is the next best thing.

Just got back from the Nick Mason signing at Borders Oxford Street. He said an emphatic NO to any tour next year, and "doesn't know how the rumour started"...

Oh well!
