play guitar along Brian Eno, Delerium type stuff

Or Thievery corporation. It's really fun. Just find very haunting atmospheric tunes from Electronic artists who don't use guitars.. It's like having a backing track. But the best thing is that it leaves so much room for improvisation. I am still trying to find more elec/atmosferic music to play my cheapstrat to.

Anyone else into this kind of stuff

I think he means using long, sustained, ambient chords as backgrounds for improvisational solo-ing. Good idea. Why is this in the Rumour Mill?
