Weblogs: Cool, or pieces of Shit?

If you are on the internet anywhere near often, you have probably come across a blog. For those who don't know, a blog is a personalized website where you make entries about whatever you want. It is the cool thing to do among teenagers. Most of them take this awesome oppurtunity of having their own site to fill it with boring details about their day. Now, these could potentially be really cool things for sharing opinions, views or whatever. But most people aren't competent enough to realize that nobody gives a shit about their day. So, do you think these weblogs are a good idea, or do you think they should all burn in hell?

My friends and I have our own individual ones in order to keep each other posted since we all live so far apart from one another now. But they're private so they're not accessible to the public.

I don't know what the hell a weblog is, and I don't care to know -- so there it is.

If I care about the person and what they have to say, then I'll maybe check their blog once in a blue moon. Otherwise, what's the point? 99.999% of them are absolute rubbish.

Exactly..I look at them though, when I'm really bored. But I really hate them. I'm pretty disgusted that I have one myself.

I couldn't be arsed having one myself and why on earth would I want to read the inconsequential babblings of some illiterate teenager?

I find typing much easier to do than writing, cos I can do it faster and therefore can get more of my thoughts out at once.

I have one, but I use it more to show flash movies, and say funny things, I realize that my life is boring and that noone else needs to care, so I at least make mine entertaining. Good idea, if used properly.
