If you must rank 'em, that is. And provided Floyd is actually your fave band.

For me it's a toss-up between Black sabbath and mid/late 90's Radiohead. Hmmmmm, have to go with Radiohead.

Erm...I don't really have a number two. Everything else is so far behind the Floyd.

I guess as far as achievement, combined with how long they were around, combined with the fact they wrote some really good tunes...Dire Straights.

Radiohead would be the only contemporary band I can think of. A lot of the other stuff I listen to is classical music.
