Oh yes all those unsuccessfull tours in the 80s and 90s and all those unsold albums... Your personal view of things and facts i.e. band's opinion are two separate entities, remember.

Wasn't Roger Waters the guy who could not be arsed recording a new album because he was too busy going fishing?

Agreed - it's just my opinion. Can you agree that financial success doesn't necessarily equate to artistic quality?

Given his recent work, I wish he'd do more fishing.

Of course. Anyway I think they're far from being disappointed, that was my whole point.

No!!! This may not be so bogus as it sounds.........

I was talking to my mom about the Roger Waters showing at the Tsunami Relief fund thing, and see told me on how she heard on National Public Radio that Pink Floyd may indeed be reuniting for a tour this year or next! And if it was on NPR, it can't be as far-fecthed as it seems......

Well, if it takes the devastation of a South Asian Tsunami to drag out the altruists in Dave and the others, then I'm all for it, of course....but still rather doubtful.

It's a commendable enough reason for doing a benefit show/tour, to be sure.

Perhaps you should start another one. Who knows what could come of it?

Re: Pink Floyd possibly reuniting for some show next year?

I heard on the radio a few days ago that Pink Floyd was going to re-unite for a Live Aid show somewhere. I figured I would check the forums to see if anyone else had heard anything. Looks like it's a bogus deal.

EDIT: I just found it that it really is going to happen and felt obligated to edit this post..what great news!
