You'd better sit down for this.

Some of you may have already seen this. This was posted at another PF site. It's a picture taken of Syd during the infamous incident in which he appeared during the WYWH recording. I'm ****ing speechless.

I've seen that pic before, forgot where though.

I've never seen it before. It just totally freaked me out.

Yeah, it's a shock to most people who haven't seen him that way before.

Wow, look at him. I really cannot even believe it. At least he looks better in his older years than in this pic -- he looks very unhappy, and he doesn't seem himself (not that I'd know anyhow).

Judging from the bottles of booze visible, that pic was obviously taken at Dave's wedding reception that night.

Interesting.

It's actually sad, to see him looking that way.

Ahh, so what. We all have our bad days, right?

Well, Syd's life story is sad many ways, this is just one of them.

The tale of Syd is an uplifting one which I will tell to my children every night they sleep.

Which won't be often, after the first telling.

Then I'll paste LSD flavored listering pocket pack strips to their eyelids until they feel Syd's pain.
