Is this wrong, or just awsome

Well see i wanna get a new amp, and stuff. For the head i dont know wat i want to get. But my question is for the cabinet. See i wanna use a Jbl Speaker instead of some cabinet like marhshall. This speaker can take 300 watts. It has an awsome sound. Though not as loud marshall, everything else is just better. way better. and the loudness, well i dont need that loud. Im only gonna play places like whisky. so no big on the loudness. do u think wat im doing, is wrong or not.

I'd get a straight peavey 4X12 cab. Not the slanted kind.
