I've JUST discovered her.. talk about slow on the uptake.. but what I have heard so far is awesome. I'm thinking of singing Leather for my drama school auditions.. yay!

I can't stand her...

Her first few albums were good but then she got REALLY too weird.

I have a friend who basically listens to the same stuff as me, and he was saying something about her the other day; something about him liking her stuff. I haven't heard any myself, but I intend to check her out sometime soon.

I once got a cassette tape of one of her albums (for free).

I tossed it.

Wow.. I thought you guys would like her. For those of you who are thinking of taking a listen, but you haven't yet.. take a listen to songs like Winter, Me and Gun, Leather, Cornflake Girl.. she really is very awesome..

Tori Amos has a very good voice - her lyrics may be incomprehensible, and I'll never forget her album cover where she's nursing the piglet... But I like her stuff.

That's a wicked album.. I love Me and Gun.. that's such a full on song. You know what I don't get, I thought the song was about her murdering a man after he raped her.. but my friend reckons it's jsut about her getting raped? which one do you reckon it is?
