Live at Pompeii

I dont know where this would go under, but i bought the live at pompeii DVD about 3 months ago, but didnt watch it until last night... i only watched about half of it, but man i have to tell you... its great. I woudl recomend this to anyone who likes pink floyd, its just awsome....

why did you wait so long?? i mean, you have it for 3 months, how can you keep it somewhere in your room and not watch it??

i have some copy, converted from video format (of video tape) into sth, it is not perfect copy, but is doinng the work...and we;re watching it at least once in two months (psychos...)
can;t wait to buy DVD of it...

you know that apple pie detail??

The Director's Cut DVD is alright, but the two-part .mpg video floating around the p2p networks (ripped, I think, from the VCD) is just as good, if not better.

how so??? the dc version also has the option of watching the original cut......what does this boot version have that the official doesn't???

The other version (which is the non directors cut) is included in the features part of the directors cut, so you have both versions actually if you get the directors.

yeah i know, it was the hardest thing i have ever done, but i had to finish my homework then sleep... i had a mid term in spanish and a huge history test, i didnt study, but i didnt want to be tierd.

Live at Pompeii is a great DVD, the only thing that I didn't like about it, is that there is no audince, still the Led Zeppelin DVD is at the top of my list for best LIVE Dvd's, then Pompeii, then David Gilmour in Concert, then Roger Waters The Wall:Live in Berlin(Too many guest stars)

yeah, if i dont get good grades, or at least do my homework, then i wont be able to listen to Floyd period.... so thinking ahead, i do my homework knowing i can listen/watch it later

yeah i agree with you PinkZeppelen, to many guest stars on the wall in berlin, non the less, i still loved it, and video taped it when it was on HBO/Showtime
