Angry koRn has lost what little respect I had for them

koRn a pretty good heavy metal band, not my favorite genre of music, but nevertheless...they weren't a bad band, until now. I don't know if anyone else has heard their cover of the beloved anthem of thoes who rebel the modern education system, "another brick in the wall"(namely part 2) even thought they kept most the same, I, personally feel that they slaughtered the beautiful melodic phrasings that is Pink Floyd. I am in utter disgust. I was just wondering if anyone else has been disgusted with covers and "tributes" to bands, they normally end up slaughtering the original. the only 2 decent one's I've heard were "behind blue eyes" as sung by Limp Bizkit covering The Who and the Atari's "boy's of summer" but is it just me or do most produced covers and 'tributes' really suck?

and another thing, they have it listed as pts. 1-3, yet they added goodbye cruel world, are they so stupid not to know what song is what, or what?

if the band was actually good, theyd make up songs that OTHER bands would want to do covers of... but nobody thinks like that

Korn's version of Another Brick In The Wall Part 2 is horrible. Limb Bizkit goes and butchers Behind Blue Eyes...now Korn goes and butchers ABITW. When will it end?

I don't know how others feel, but I wasn't that impressed with the Scissor Sister's version of CN.

I'm not much of a Korn fan but I thought their cover was decent.
The live version is better than the Greatest Hits version FWIW.

I don't really like the singer's voice but the song itself is decent enough. I've heard some awful covers but this is not one of them. It's not memorable or anything but certainly not as bad as you are making it out to be.

I can't believe you actually think LB's Behind Blue Eyes is decent but this is horrible. You need your ears checked. It's the other way around.

I thought Cash's version of Hurt was by far the best ever.

Not all covers are bad. I like Faith No More's cover of War Pigs.....That's not very relevant, but cover's in general aren't bad, but I'm sure that one sucks, haven't heard it though.

yeah, I think I would have to agree with you

ok, yeah, you're right, BBE (haven't listened to it in a long while) isn't the best...the who's is much better, but it's not a total slaughter...then again, I'm not the biggest who fan in the world anyway...another cover I hate is Lenny Kravitz's version of "American Woman" without the words, I don't think I would recognize the song...[wow, I babble on my own topic, I babble alot]
