| Re: Suggestions, ideas for my research paper The Beach Boys (Brian Wilson) were primarily responsible for the genesis of "Surf" rock and "Car" or "Hot Rod" Rock, a fad starting in 1962..... spawned Jan & Dean, The Ventures, & a bunch of one-hit wonders like The Hondells, The Rip Chords, The Super Stocks, etc. etc.
