Re: Favorite tracks in this era.

I've been thinking about this one and I think there are a lot of good ones. I'll give you my top ten, let me know what you think.
10- Afternoon or Biding my time(live)
9- The Narrow Way(live)
8- Atom Heart Mother(live small band version)
7- Embryo(live)
6- Green is the Colour(live)
5- One of these days
4- Granchester Meadows or Daybreak(live)
3- Careful with that Axe(UmmaGumma)
2- Cymbaline(live)
1- Echoes

No, I'm not crazy. I purposely left off tunes from 'Darkside' and 'Wish'. It just did not seem fair.

Re: Favorite tracks in this era.

I know you may think, "'Speak to Me?' WHAT?!" Let me explain. Though the majority of those on my list as the best from this era were written by all or at least 3/4 of Pink Floyd at that time, and "Speak to Me" was Waters' composition, I chose it because it sort of foreshadows the change in PF's music that began on "Dark Side of the Moon." Sort of a foreboding of success and hostility.

Re: Favorite tracks in this era.

I see what he means, this forum ranges from after Syd left up to Wish You Were Here album. My fault, but most of them fall into their place .
